Review
Street Fighter IV

Pros

• Interesting tutorial mode
• Record feature added with Challenge mode DLC
• Cool art style
• New Focus attack move
• Great multiplayer options, including one that let you get challenged whenever you like
• Easy to pick up controls, but tons of depth to the fighting
• Suited for a wide range of skill levels

Cons

• Disappointingly standard modes
• Goofy and ultimately pointless anime scenes
• May have to unlock your favourite character

Bottom Line

Years of tweaking Street Fighter have paid off. Street Fighter IV is a great fighting game for all comers.

Reviews

"Rarely have I seen a fighting game so balanced in every way possible. Street Fighter IV puts together the ultimate package for fighting game lovers: it has easy to figure out controls, but a move system so deep it will take you a very long time to master it against every opponent. A wide range of difficultly levels provide everything from a gentle introduction for noobs, all the way up to vicious competition for veterans. A check out that tutorial system, which allow you to loop an opponents moves and actions so that you can teach yourself to defend against them. I love the new focus moves, and the animation that goes with them. I could pass on the anime scenes, but be sure to get the free Championship mode DLC, which adds the ability to record play and swap the videos with your friends. Street Fighter IV is what happens when you leave a fighting game to the experts."
