Bottom Line
A throwback to sidescrolling action games with one of the most distinctive art styles you will ever see. |
"The minute you fire up this game, you will be dazzled by it. Imagine samurai and demonic characters drawn in a cutesy almost Hello, Kitty style, filtered through Frank Miller. Now comes the action: intense, tough and really, really violent. You can't just hack and slash your way through all of this game; you need to pick up on attack patterns and get into a groove, not unlike an old school Mega Man. But it is satisfying: the game gives you lots of weapons and plenty of opportunities for finishing moves that will wash your screen out with arterial reds. If you like games with unique challenges and a hardcore old school approach, look no further."
