Catcha Mouse

Pros

• Tons of levels across several difficulty modes
• Cute cartoon graphics

Cons

• A hint option would be nice

Bottom Line

A sweet reworking of an old classic.

"You've probably seen this one before: a turn-based game where the goal is to trap your foe, in this case a mouse. You make a move by laying down a trap, then the mouse moves to the closest hole. You keep dropping traps until the mouse escapes, or you cut off every last exit. It's a simple pathfinding game where you eliminate the paths, but Catcha Mouse is one of the better versions I've played. The mouse is nicely drawn and animated (dig that dirty look he gives you when you cut off the last escape route). And best of all: lots of different difficulty levels, and a ton of maps. All for free. Thumbs way up."
