Donna Mei-Ling Park

From Tetris on the first Game Boy to Puzzle Quest on the DS Lite, she loves gaming on the go. But get her to put down that game of DS Soduku and she might just surprise you with her love for Shooters and Action-Adventures. Sadly, Donna Mei-Ling Park (Mei-Mei to those around the office) suffers from a tragic identity crisis and has for quite some time now-- she actually sometimes confuses herself with Chun-Li (we're sure you see the resemblance... and if you don't-- don't mention it to her.) Growing up, she was a real threat on the SNES with Street Fighter II. Perhaps being half Chinese (and half Irish!) contributes to Donna's killer flying-bird kick? TV is this girl's dream job and the gaming industy is a perfect fit. When asked what she'd like most from her experience at EP, she simply responds, "Nothing, just being here is like having it all! BUT if any developers are reading this, I won't be mad if you design a character after me!" heh. Surprisingly, the girl's still waiting. But ask her what her passion is, and you'll quickly learn that it's the societal impact of games. It's actually what she chose to study in University! Try not to get her started on the subject unless you have several hours (trust us, we've made that mistake before...) "I'm not the best gamer and I don't pretend to be. But I love having a good time and playing games is fun! Moreover, we're actually taking part in an amazing cultural phenomenon... Gaming has successfully changed the media landscape in merely a few decades. What other medium can make such a claim? The dynamic nature of this industry does not cease to amaze me..." Honestly, we had to cut her off.
