Digital Platoon made some noise early this year, with
press releases and a website dedicated to their Project
V1. This game is also to be about the Navy SEAL. Digital
Platoon's goal is to allow the gamer to relive real
SEAL missions and force players to use guerilla-style
warfare, advanced combat tactics, rely on their teammates
to survive.
Project
V1 aims to invite the gamer into warfare and counter-guerilla
operations in an open landscape with surrounding jungle
sounds of typical animals, and to familiarize him
or her self with the kind of missions lived by true,
real life heroes, in accurate detail and realism.
EP has been unable to determine the progress of this
title, or even if the team was able to secure the
Unreal license. As ever, we'll just have to wait and
see.
