We’ve got some cool new info about the upcoming Army Of Two: The 40th Day. According to Executive Producer Reid Schneider, him and the development team are looking at the sequel as the perfect opportunity to go back and correct the things they wanted to fix from the first game. Specifically, one of the things they hope to improve is the online co-op system by making the different moves feel more fluid and organic. Game Director Alex Hutchinson says that the sequel will be set during a massive urban disaster in Shanghai, where everything is collapsing and the only thing you can rely on is your partner. Urban chaos? Sounds great. Army of Two: The 40th Day comes out this winter.

The second and third are Wii-makes of two previous games in the series, Resident Evil 1 and Resident Evil Zero. You can expect all three titles to rise from the dead later this year.

Mavis added that he believes movies will be available on the console by the end of this year. Although the Wii already has a small video distribution service in Japan, there’s been no sign of it coming to North American. We’ll keep our eyes and ears open.

Dennis Kucinich, Ohio Congressman and two-time potential Democratic Presidential nominee, has spoken out against America’s Army – Virtual Army Experience. Similar to the popular PC games, Virtual Army Experience is a recruiting tool used at large public events, and made available to children as young as thirteen. The game gives a naïve and unrealistic glimpse of what it’s like to be a soldier, according to Kucinich, and both glorifies and sanitizes the extreme violence of war. Kucinich has urged the House of Representatives Armed Services Committee to eliminate the game from its annual military budget.
