Variety reports that The Killing executive producer Veena Sud is crafting a remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s film noir classic Suspicion. The original was released in 1941, and starred Cary Grant as a man whose wife suspects that he’s going to murder her. The remake is currently in the early stages of development.
Plenty of other Hitchcockian projects are also in the works, including a biopic about the making of Psycho, and a new TV series that serves as a prequel to Psycho.
The second season of The Killing will premiere on April 1, and no, it’s not an elaborate April Fools joke.
