We’ve got more time until Earth is invaded by the alien forces of XCOM.
The upcoming shooter has been delayed. Originally slated to arrive on March 6th, 2012, publisher 2K Games says XCOM will now deploy sometime in late 2012 or early 2013. XCOM is a remake of a classic PC series from the 90s, and is being created by the same studio behind BioShock 1 and 2. It chronicles an invasion of Earth by a race of technologically advanced aliens in the year 1962, stacking players up against devastating odds. We’ll have more on XCOM in the coming months.
