PlayStation Vita Has Landed!

If you’re sick of all the PlayStation Vita coverage of the past few weeks, you can finally find out what all the fuss is about for yourself, because the device has finally landed on store shelves in North America. The Vita gives gamers-on-the-go a second thumb stick, something we’ve been asking for since the PSP launched back in 2005. A front touchscreen, a rear touchpad, and graphics that rival the PS3 round out the device. It also has some augmented reality features.

Make sure you watch our stories on all the different games you’ll be able to play on the Vita.

-Nathan Drake’s latest treasure hunting adventure, Uncharted: Golden Abyss.

-The customizable kart racing experience ModNation Racers: Road Trip.

-The futuristic racing game Wipeout 2048.

-The tactical military shooter Unit 13 from the makers of the SOCOM series.

-The arcade style compilation Little Deviants.

-The ball-kicking extravaganza FIFA Soccer from EA Sports.

-The hit crossover brawler Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

-The stylish platformer Escape Plan.

-Last year’s console hit Rayman Origins.

-Army Corps of Hell from publisher Square Enix.

-The electrifying Lumines: Electronic Symphony.

-The hungry alien adventure Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, featuring music composed by our own Shaun Hatton.

-The iOS and PSN racing game Asphalt Injection.

The Call of Duty franchise will also deploy on the Vita later this year. The 8-bit murder simulator Retro City Rampage arrives in May, along with Resistance: Burning Skies.
