The Call of Duty series is coming to the PlayStation Vita.
That’s according to Guy Longworth, Sony’s Senior Vice President of PlayStation Brand Marketing. He tells GameTrailers’ Geoff Keighley that Activision is working on a Call of Duty game for the new device, and it will deploy this fall. Longworth says it will be a game-changer for the platform, but no other intel was given. The Vita’s dual-thumb sticks should come in handy.
Activision recently confirmed that an all-new Call of Duty game will hit consoles this November, and it remains to be seen if the Vita game will be a port of the same title. The Overwatch map for Modern Warfare 3 deploys February 21.
The PlayStation Vita is available now to those who pre-ordered the device, and everyone else will be able to get their hands on it next week.
